Zakopane, called very often "the winter capital of Poland", is a perfect place for the lovers of active winter leisure.
It is also the site, where you can feel a real, still vivid folklor of the Higlanders - their music, dances, language, art and architecture. Only here you will find unique buildings built in Zakopane Style, created at the end of 19th century by the artist S. Witkiewicz. Among the houses inspired by the folk art are the Chapel in Jaszczórówka, the Koliba Villa, the Tatra Museum and others.
Our visit to Zakopane will give you the chance to get to know local architecture and folklor, taste traditional food, admire the charm of the Tatra Mountains from Gubałówka Hill or Kasprowy Wierch (where you will be taken by funicular railway/cableway).
Would you like to hike in the Tatra Mountains, visit an amazing Hasior Gallery or a mountain hut to see how is made a local speciality - the cheese "oscypek"? - everything is possible.
